As co-host of The Madd Hatta Morning Show on KBXX-FM 97.9 The Box, Nnete was the feminine voice of reason and the ying to the yang of her cohorts. Nnete's fresh perspective, infectous personality, and fearless interviewing technique kept listeners glued to their radio for her exclusives with well noted public figures and celebrities such as First Lady Michelle Obama, Beyonce, 50 Cent, Roseanne Barr and John C. Maxwell in addition to her broadcasts from the Billboard Music Awards, BET Awards, MTV's Video Music Awards, and American Idol.

Nnete authentically built a strong rapport with listeners by sharing her triumphs and not so shiny moments. During her decade at KBXX-Housotn she was tapped to endorse several national brands including T-Mobile, Clear, Lactaid, Clinique, Pantene, and Secret. Nnete also hosted several specialty programs such as 'Behind the Box,' 'H-Town's Top 30 Countdown,' 'Conversations with Nnete,' and 'Access Houston.'

Memorable appearances as a special guest weather girl and American Idol Correspondent for KRIV-Fox 26 plus weekend movie host for KHWB-39 helped Nnete earn an Entertainment Reporter position for KNWS TV 51.

Nnete has been recognized by Rolling Out Magazine as one of the "Top 25 Women in Houston" and honored as a "Distinguished Alum" by the University of Houston Black Alumni Association.
