I am Nosike Nwigene, with a background in Communications and Digital Marketing spanning 10 years.

My work in strategic communications, covers public relations, social media, content and email marketing, event coordination, policy, international development, and political campaigns.

I'm an Account Manager (and Digital Comms. Lead) at InsiderPR, where I work to forge strategic connections between high-growth businesses in emerging markets and global stakeholders, including investors, journalists, media outlets, and influencers.

Here I leverage all forms of media and communication to build, maintain and manage the reputation of our clients. My responsibilities encompass:

• Directing editorial output and designing/executing media strategies.
• Crafting and communicating key messaging.
• Coordinating press coverage and executive engagements.
• Establishing startups, VCs, and executives as knowledgeable leaders in their industries.

Understanding the importance of a strong online presence in today’s ever-evolving digital world, my approach includes utilising social and digital media to enhance visibility for clients by:

• Developing content strategies and advising on thought leadership approaches.
• Crafting stories and translating technical topics into relatable business outcomes.

So far I've managed and worked on public relations, social media and content programmes for over 50 founders, tech startups and VC funds across Africa, MENA, and Latin America.

Volunteer and Additional Roles:

• Code for Africa: As a CivicTech Fellow, I advise and guide on media and digital strategies to promote open government and transparency in 55 African nations, in line with the African Union's Democracy Charter.
• Gov. Comms.: I assist government agencies with online content and social media strategies, and articulate policy positions for executives.
• Nigeria Startup Act: As a Communications Officer volunteer, I handle media enquiries and contribute editorial content.
• UNDP RSF: Under Sinclair Social, I worked in local media relations, public outreach, and social media campaigns for UNDP Nigeria’s Regional Stabilization Facility in the Lake Chad Basin.

My other interests are the attention economy, sports business and the impact of misinformation.
