Teenaged novelist Noah Barfield is poised to be one of the brightest young stars in the world of fiction. Before the age of 18, Noah has already amassed a wealth of experience in authorship. He wrote for his own blog beginning at the age of 10 and was paid to write for a health website by the age of 12. Throughout his adolescence Noah has written a plethora of short stories and manuscripts, one of which received the lion’s share of his attention and will be his first published novel.

Noah’s passion for writing began in his youth, but he began a more serious pursuit of his writing career after reading Christopher Paolini’s popular novel Eragon. Having always loved to read, he took Paolini as an inspiration and strove to also become a published author before he turned eighteen. Since that day, he has earnestly pressed forward, directing his passion into a profession and future career.

With a broad range of personal interests, Noah enjoys writing in several genres including: action, dystopian, horror, thriller, fantasy and science-fiction. He uses his interest and knowledge in the fields of psychology, sociology, ethics and philosophy to aid him in his writing endeavors, and constantly draws inspiration from the people, books and world around him.

His debut, Legend Land, is an action/fantasy novel set in an alternate world that contains many characters from popular legends, stories and folklore, in addition to his own, original characters. Noah enjoys taking the known and popular and giving it its own unique twist, while constantly looking to push the writing envelope.

When he is not using his creative energy for writing, Noah also enjoys reading, listening to music, playing video and select board games as well as myriad physical activities, including a history in martial arts attaining a second degree black belt in Taekwondo. He has used his creative energies to dabble in the creation of music, animations and multiple games. Additionally, due to Noah being inspired by the creativity of others, he has encouraged, advised and mentored other young aspiring authors.

Noah is the son of a loving mother and father, the eldest of three boys and has been home schooled for most of his life. This environment has helped to foster his creative side and given him the support that has allowed him to develop into the author that he is today.
