Charleston, SC
I live in Charleston, one of the most charming places in the world. Daily, my senses are delighted with the smell of sea water, the sound of seagulls chatting, the sight of spanish moss lounging on tree branches, the taste of Southern cooking, and the damp of the famous Charleston humidity on my skin. Here, we call it dewy. It is accepted as a way of life. I miss it when I visit drier climates.
I want more than anything to spend my days writing, on a vintage typewriter. Until then, I hope you share in my journey by reading, liking and following my blog. It is a year long journey into my latent potential. My journey in blogging has taught me how simple it is to be vulnerable when typing on a keyboard. I have, as a result, been driven to my knees on many occasions out of writer's remorse. When this happens, a bourbon on the rocks usually quiets the voices. Please join me for an idiosyncratic take on life, love and the rightness of seedy theatres on the wrong side of town.
In January 2014, as I complete my year long journey, I look forward to relaunching this space as a lifestyle blog. You may look forward to daily posts, a completely new format, and feature articles that will build upon themselves through each month. I cannot wait to share this new space. And thank you for checking out my work.
