Nobuya is an Experience Designer and Design Strategist with over 20 years of extensive experience for designing user experience for digital products & services. He has led numerous large-scale complex web development projects and globalization strategy initiatives for both domestic and international clients.
His career has spanned several leading global agencies, including POSSIBLE, AKQA, Razorfish and Sapient.
Before joining POSSIBLE L.A. team, he spend 3 years at AKQA as Product Strategy Director, overseeing UX, Product, Creative Research & Development, and Technology discipline of Tokyo office. Prior to AKQA, he was a Vice President of User Experience & Japanese Operations at Seesmic, a social media management and mobile enterprise CRM company in San Francisco. Before that, Nobuya was a Strategic Producer at Sony Creative Center, engaged and led the user experience platform strategy for New Mobile (3G enable mobile devices) and Tablet strategy for the group-wide Android based networked products and services. He was a core member of Sony’s group-wide Android Working Group and initiatives.
Nobuya graduated from Kobe Design University with a degree in Product Design. He is a Certified HCD Professional, a Google UX/UI Expert and a Google Sprint Master.
