No Greater Joy
From its headquarters in Pleasantville, Tennessee, No Greater Joy Ministries functions as a Christian ministry with an emphasis on training children. The organization reflects more than 40 years of service in missionary work and evangelism. No Greater Joy, a 501(c)(3) organization, promotes the spread of the gospel of Jesus Christ through its menu of resources and tools.
Founded by Michael and Debi Pearl, No Greater Joy offers a loving, Christ-centered message for parents and caregivers. The couple’s first book, To Train Up a Child, was released in 1994 and has more than 670,000 copies in print. Michael Pearl is also the author of Good & Evil, a Bible-based graphic novel he released in 2009. The book earned the Bronze Medal from Independent Publishers and placed as a finalist in the Forward Book Award competition. Dubbed “the ultimate superhero” graphic novel, Good & Evil has been translated into over 30 foreign languages and continues to enjoy worldwide distribution.
Furthering the intention of empowering parents, Michael and Debi's books serve as an additional platform for No Greater Joy. A complimentary bimonthly publication, No Greater Joy features 40 pages of inspiration, child training insight, and answers to challenging questions. A family-centered magazine, No Greater Joy promotes traditional Christian values and personal enrichment. In addition, the No Greater Joy website features more than 500 free messages available for download. Topics include salvation, evangelism, potty training, getting children to bed, and conducting Bible studies.
Michael and Debi Pearl draw on their personal experiences of raising five children. They homeschooled their children, each of whom have gone on to work in ministry and promote their parents’ messages. The Pearls now share their vast experience as child trainers with families and parents who want to honor Christ’s example in their homes.
