I am an Agronomist and a GIS consultant.

As a traveler these were my major adventures:

(2015) Vietnam and Cambodia – 3 weeks to tour the region. I bought a small Honda Win 100 in Saigon, did 2600 kms and probably more than 600 were on non-paved roads. Crossed the Cadamom forest alone with rain!
(2013) São Tomé and Príncipe – 2 weeks to discover both islands. Around 300 kms covered on motorcycle on paved and non-paved roads.
(2011) Europe by motorcycle – near 7000 kms mainly along the Atlantic coast and Mediterranean.
(2009) Brazil by motorcycle – near 14000 kms crossing 22 of the 27 Brazilian states, including 1000 of dirt track to reach the Amazon river. I personally prepared and shipped the bike from Portugal to Brazil and back in the end of the journey.
(2007) Morocco – road trip reaching the Sahara desert in Erg Chebbi.
(2006) First Europe by motorcycle – around 4500 kms, crossing the Pyrenees from the Mediterranean till the Atlantic and visiting the Picos de Europa.

I never had major issues in my travels, I always take good riding equipment and tools and I'm a do-it-all kind of person, a bit mechanic, a bit photographer, a bit paperwork, but specially relaxed, good with people and at motivating them, and resourceful in the outdoors.
Oh! and I've been a Tuk-Tuk mechanic here in Portugal, between my engineer career.
