Studying towards being an educator has given me a whole lot of insight on the kind of teacher I strive to be to my learners and the learning environment I hope to create for them as we both work hand in hand towards achieving their full potential within my classroom and even outside of it. Working towards creating an atmosphere which enables them to explore their different interests and talents is key for me as a teacher, mainly because I believes that some learners’ paths are not soley based on being an academia nor obtaining a certain degree so focusing solely on being educated likely blind sights them from pursuing those talents and interest. All in all I am a believer that education really is not all about learning within certain curriculums but that it is truly learning that incorporates learners’ realities including their talents and personal interests with that curriculum in order to prepare them for everything life has to offer them.
