Nicole Olsson-Dail

Carlsbad, NM

I was born in Tacoma, Washington and when I was six years old my parents moved to Farmington, New Mexico. I grew up in Farmington and graduated from High School there in 1995. I went to three different colleges for my bachelors in mathematics. The colleges are San Juan College in Farmington, NM, Adams State College in Alamosa, CO, and Fort Lewis College in Durango, CO. In Durango, I received my Bachelors of Arts in Mathematics Education in April 2002. I then got a job teaching in Grants at Grants High School. In 2004, I decided to go back to school for my Masters Degree at AIU. I graduated in Sept 2005 with my Masters of Education: Instructional Technology. I worked at NMSU Grants for six years before accepting a position at NMSU Carlsbad in June 2012. My position is Manager - Instructional Technology in which I run the Learning Technology Center (Rm 211) and I also teach online courses in the computer science department.

My husband, Ken Dail, is working at Walgreens in Carlsbad, NM. I have two sons, a 14 year old named Anthony and a 2 year old named Nickolas. Anthony plays soccer, reads, loves math and loves to play video games. Nickolas is in the terrible twos stage and loves to play with cars!

My hobbies include Computers, Mathematics, Websites, Cards, Technology, Professional Development and my sons.
