NONKULULEKO THWALA

Student and Volunteer in Johannesburg, Auckland Park

I am a driven and dedicated education student, skilled in areas such as lesson planning, classroom management, and student engagement. As a proponent of 21st-century skills, I think learners should be given tools for cooperation, communication, critical thinking, and creativity. I am positive that I was destined to become a teacher. I use blended learning and personalized learning to include technology in my lessons as a student teacher who is influenced by the 4IR. Writing about social justice appeals to me. I volunteer at my previous high school, I give learners extra classes for History and English. I like learning alongside other people. I am motivated by the quote that says “Teaching is more than imparting knowledge, it is inspiring change and learning is more than absorbing facts, it is acquiring understanding”. I believe teaching is more than transferring knowledge. I am an outgoing person, who likes adventure. I love nature, and seeing different kinds of nature features allows me to think well.
