I was born in 1996 in Taiwan. I used to be a traditional Taiwanese student that diligently studies and hit a first place streak in school. However, I'm not happy and don't know why I learn these knowledge. I used to be afraid of programming because I played Counter Strike in class and screwed up in the quiz.

Since the university entrance exam is too easy for me, I started to do some programming when I was 17, and developed my first Android program at 18. Later on, I worked in the Science Park. I feel like I could change the world with my laptop then.

I mastered HTML, css, JavaScript soon, when I was 19. Also, I get some case job and earned some money. Meanwhile, I get lots of internship offer including Taiwan Yahoo at a young age. However, Yahoo's headquarter rejected Taiwan's application because of my GPA. I losed all jobs that summer.

A crisis is often the turning point for the better, I met Rae that summer and we started up a company. I tried to build our own product, which include techs like React-Native, NodeJs, ReactJs. Also, we applied some software tech like Unit-test, git-flow, coding style...... Besides from the tech part, I learned a lot in bringing up good ideas to improve our product.

After six months, we closed our company for some reason. I changed my view to deep learning. I built an 24/7 auto forex trader. This difficult project took me a lot of time, but I mastered in deep learning techs after this project and earned some money. Because of risk, I shut down the trader and kept on working v2 until now.

In 2017 fall, I felt tired of school work. I dropped out from school and was recruited by NCTU MAPL Lab as a researcher. I learned how to read papers and math formulae. Also I developed a lot of knowledge in computer vision and natural language processing. In the mean time, I'm also the TA of Deep Learning and author of GCP.

I'm now an exchange student at UIUC. I take 4 high level CS courses, which are Machine Learning, Data Mining, Cloud Computing and Data Science Analytic. Most student take only 2 high level CS class per semester, but I tried 4. Though being tired, I learned a lot.

My interests include web, mobile, deep learning, machine learning, data science, blockchain, finance, math, history, anthropology, baseball, League of Legends. I hope to build fantastic things in the future like Mark Zuckerburg and Vitalik Buterin.
