Official Biography of Noor Faisel

Technology and Education Specialist for Refugee Development

Noor Faisel is a refugee student originally from Myanmar and currently living in the largest refugee camp in Bangladesh. He completed his high school education inside the refugee camp and has since developed as a website developer, educator, and refugee development technologist.

He is the Founder of the Global Refugee Development Movement (GRDM), an initiative dedicated to using education, technology, and structured programs to support refugee empowerment and global development awareness.

Global Refugee Development Movement (GRDM)

GRDM currently leads and coordinates three core initiatives (Wings).

1. The Society for Peace and Justice (The SPJ)

The Society for Peace and Justice (The SPJ) is dedicated to:

• Promoting peace and justice in refugee communities
• Raising awareness on human rights and refugee rights
• Encouraging civic responsibility and advocacy for displaced populations through sessions on GVB, Early Marriage, Human Rights, Justice, and…

Its focus is on building awareness, education, and advocacy for human rights and refugee development.

2. Harvard School of Arkan

The Harvard School of Arkan is a basic education initiative inside the refugee camp that provides:

• Structured and modern foundational education
• Academic support for refugee children
• A learning environment focused on discipline and development

It aims to strengthen access to quality basic education in displacement settings.

3. NEXUS (Network for Educational eXcellence and Unified Support)

NEXUS is a digital educational support network dedicated to:

• Providing free academic resources
• Distributing PDF books, learning materials, and study guides
• Sharing educational news and academic tools for refugee students

Its mission is to ensure equal access to learning resources for refugee learners.
