Noor Jooma

Noor Jooma manages Dallas-based Winterberry Development, LLC, where he identifies new business opportunities and determines the long-term viability of potential acquisitions. Through his leadership in a variety of commercial and residential development projects, Noor Jooma has cultivated a multifaceted skill set, including real estate acquisition, syndication of federal tax credits, data-modeling and process-mapping, and designing and re-engineering processes.

Mr. Jooma has a long history of successfully pioneering innovative and diverse business models. In his first such endeavor, he conceived and implemented a 99-cent store business model in San Antonio, Texas. Mission City Stores eventually expanded to 21 retail locations across the country, from El Paso to Chicago. Mission City Stores and Noor Jooma was recognized in 1993 with the Minority Retail Firm of the Year Award for the Dallas region.

Following his success with Mission City Stores, Mr. Jooma introduced another creative business model to Texas retailers: the concept of multi-branding. Over a ten-year period, he worked with several corporations to introduce and implement the multi-branding concept. Mr. Jooma's first project, a Popeyes chicken fast-food restaurant merged with a Shell convenience store, yielded one of the highest-grossing Popeyes in Texas. He then merged a Church's Chicken restaurant with Texaco and Shell convenience stations, with successful results. This innovative multi-branding format reduces land and development costs, and moves products to market faster than a traditional business model.

Noor Jooma earned a Bachelor of Science in Finance from the University of North Texas. He received a Master of Science in Real Estate from the University of Texas at Arlington in 2011.
