Nora Holloway

St. Louis

I was born to write. I started my career out on the right foot as a staff reporter for a rural paper. I covered council meetings, natural disasters, breaking news events, non-profit events and so on. It was a great place to cut my teeth as a professional writer.

After three years of writing for a printed publication, I decided to turn my attention to digital platforms. I began work as an editorial assistant for a small e-commerce company. I wrote the blogs. I tweeted the tweets. I posted the Facebook updates. I created the copy for the weekly email blasts.

Pretty soon, I was promoted to social media specialist. I did all of the previously mentioned tasks, but now I also collaborated with others on how to improve the company's web presence. I started guest blogging for similiar sites, spreading quality content as far as the eye could see.

And I'm always looking for a writing challenge or an extra project. Samples available upon request.
