I’m Norbert, a Tech entrepreneur & CTO with 20+ years of experience in software, embedded systems, and innovation leadership.

My Career

I'm a software engineer, entrepreneur and technology leader with nearly 25 years of experience in development, innovation and education, creating working and value-creating solutions in a variety of industries, from startup dynamics to enterprise innovation to automation systems using artificial intelligence.

I started as an Electrican/Information Technology Technician at the Kecskemét Technical Secondary Vocational School.

I graduated as a computer engineer in 2001 from the University of Pécs, specialising in graphic systems and business management.

In the same year, I successfully applied for an international exchange programme at IAESTE, where I spent 4 months at the University of Twente in the Netherlands, working on a PhD project called AMIDST as a Java programmer trainee.

I started my career as a software developer in 2002, and in 2008 I founded Lanoga Software Development Ltd, which has been serving its customers as a well-established and respected technology company ever since.

From 2007 to 2020 I also worked as a volunteer university lecturer, teaching computer science and software development to students at University of Pécs.

Since 2015 I was the Chief Technology Officer (CTO) of Beeem, a USA-HUN startup. In 2017, Beeem was selected as a StartupYard mentor and was recognized by the Bluetooth Special Interest Group, which named our company one of the five most innovative Bluetooth solutions in the world.

In recognition of my work, the University of Pécs awarded me the title of Honorary Associate Professor in the same year.

The Beeem project was closed in 2022, after Google discontinued the basic service on which the platform was built.

2021 -2023 I was CTO of Rentible.io, a cryptocurrency-based pay-as-you-go property rental platform.

2021 as CTO of Accounto, a Hungarian-Polish AI-based digital accounting startup.

In October 2022, Lanoga Kft was acquired by Gloster Nyrt., where I currently work as Chief Innovation Officer, responsible for the development and integration of next generation enterprise solutions.

My work is always focused on value creation, usability and people-centric technology. I am passionate about developing practical solutions and shaping the future of technology responsibly - creating systems and products that work, scale and solve real problems.
