my name is Joachim. I'm from Germany and I have been living in the North Scandinavian wilderness for over 10 years. Here, where freedom and space have a different meaning, I can pursue my dream of living in harmony with nature.

In northern Sweden I work as a mountain guide. Near our house is Europe's largest nature reserve. There I guide hiking tours or multi-day trekkings in summer.

In winter you can go with me on a snowshoe tour or a skiing tour in to the mountains. A special experience are also snowmobile safaris. With the snowmobile we drive through endless forests, over frozen rivers and up into the Highlands. You can choose between day trips and multi-day adventures.

In addition, we also have a cozy cottage for rent.Without compromising the rural character we have furnished and equipped the house to ensure high standard and the welfare of the guests. The cabin is designed for self-sufficiency, which means you have a fully functional kitchen area with fridge, stove and sink. (But you can also book dinner and breakfast).The bathroom includes hot shower and toilet. The building is in the style of the Nordic tradition. As building material we predominantly used fir and pine woods which were cut in scandinavian forests and processed in the local wood industry. The rooms are heated with environmentally friendly geothermal heating which guarantees a comfortable temperature almost all year round. But Laplands real feeling comes on only if a fire is crackling in a fireplace (especially during cold winter days), we have therefore installed a wood stove in the cabin.

The plot is located directly on the river "Vindelälven", which is about 2 km wide. With one of our boats you can go fishing right from the property. Here you catch pike, char, trout, grayling, perch and other fish.

Prices:

800 SEK per day or 5200 SEK per week.

The prices are for 1 to 2 persons. Each additional will be added 250 SEK per day (max. 4 pers.). Children aged 6 to 12 years pay half price. Children under 6 are free.

What is included?

All operating expenses such as electricity, water, sewage, waste disposal, fire wood for the fireplace. Furthermore, you will get bed linen and towels.

What is not included?

Your meals, boat rentals, transfers and other services. For the final cleaning we charge 350 SEK
