I have wanted to see the Grand Canyon for a long time. My father was in the Air Force and Dad was stationed at Indian Springs, NV. We lived there for 3 years. We came back to Oklahoma in the summer to help with hay and cattle but never stopped to see the Grand Canyon. I’ve seen so many locations that inspired me. Germany, Italy, Switzerland, Holland, and many more locations but I want to see the Grand Canyon and then move North into Utah to see Monument Valley where John Wayne made many movies there. It lifts my spirit to see what God has created.
I have a good friend who is a songwriter in Nashville who has never seen the Grand Canyon. I would take him, probably the best friend I’ve had in my life. Taking my friend could be inspired by the beauty and maybe a inspire him to find a road that would lay lyrics that could be a number 1 song.
We were the best of friends and still are. My best friend road tripping across the Western part of the US. Memories, jokes, throwing lines at each other hoping some stick on the sights, almost a spiritual moment. It’s time to catch up on those things I haven’t had.
