A senior medical director for the EMD Serono Research Institute, Norma Muurahainen MD PhD works in clinical development in the division of immunology and neurology. and has previously worked in endocrinology clinical development. Through these poistions, she leads initiatives for clinically testing of new drugs for conditions ranging from osteorathritis, inborn erros of metabolish, to HIV/AIDS and metabolic syndrome. Her past experience includes several years as director of the department of medicine Division of HIV Nutrition Research and co-director of internal medicine ambulatory services and
