Norman is a partner and co-founder of Toronto-based digital agency, Normal.
Prior to founding Normal, Norman co-founded Sonic Boom Creative Media in 1996 where he served as Creative Director. Over the years, he has had the opportunity to work on a very diverse number of large, high-profile clients crafting effective user experiences from large-scale sites, social media campaigns, mobile applications and everything in between. Clients include Bell Mobility, Citibank, Hoffmann-La Roche, Honda, Jamieson Laboratories, London Hydro, Northwest Territories, Pfizer, Rogers Communications, SiriusXM, TIMEX, and Trufflepig Travel.
In 2007, Sonic Boom was referenced as one of the world's top digital agencies in the book "Web Design: Studios 2" by TASCHEN.
In 2008 Sonic Boom was acquired by NATIONAL Public Relations, Canada's largest public relations firm affiliated worldwide with WPP. This merger solidified Sonic Boom's position as a leading agency of integrated digital media engagements with a blend of owned, earned and paid media. In 2011, Sonic Boom became a member of SoDA (Society of Digital Agencies), the third Canadian agency to become members. Norman has also served on the board of directors for the Advertising & Design Club of Canada from 2004 - 2012.
