Norma Wilson

As a professional artist, mother of three wonderful boys, two dogs and a cat. I love to spend my days painting in oil and pastels and about two years ago began selling my smaller works on eBay, and have my own store. I started doing daily paintings about the same time, exploring subjects in still life set ups in my studio and also from photographs or imagination! I have loved this journey of daily painting as it challenges me every day to grow and learn my craft and grow as a person as well. One of the biggest obstacles I have had in my 10 year journey as an artist is not knowing "what to paint"! Now, I don't have time to obsess about the perfect subject or approach.....I just paint everything! And the amazing thing is....there is beauty in everything! I believe this to be true because light is what gives form and light cast on anything creates a spectrum of color. As artists we can bring our own experience of joy and beauty to each subject.
