Normunds Dreģis is the artistic director and conductor of Jāzeps Mediņš Riga 1st Music School chamber orchestra Armonico (since 2004) and chief conductor of joint symphony orchestras in the Latvian School Youth Song and Dance Celebration (since 2015), as well as the leader of many workshops with international youth orchestras in Latvia, Estonia and France.

He is also founder and president of Latvian Orchestras Association, board member of European Orchestra Federation (since 2019), producer of the competition Talent Latvia (since 2018), and an alderman of Riga Latvian Society (since 2011).

Conductor collaborated with the Latvian National Opera, Latvian National Symphony Orchestra, Liepāja Symphony Orchestra (Latvia), the New Rhine Chamber Orchestra (Cologne, Germany), South-Westphalen Philharmonie-Orchestra (Germany) and early music ensemble Ludus (Latvia).

He has given concerts in Estonia, Lithuania, Finland, Poland, Germany, Austria, Switzerland, France, Italy, Sweden and England.
