I'm me. Unashamedly, imperfectly, infuriatingly me.

My entire working life was in social housing, with a local authority. And I loved nearly every minute!

But in 2009, when I was 51, the pygmies came creeping out of the jungle, and tore my temple to pieces, and erected one to themselves in its place. Well, baby, I didn't want any of that; so when the man held out his hand, and it was holding my shiny ticket to Outsville, I grabbed it and jumped on the train outta town.

So what's now? Well, now is retirement, pure and simple. My special wife, (actually, my only wife - I don't have any ordinary ones) and I have time to do anything, or nothing, we want. And that includes holidays, some photography, spending time exploring Britain in our Caravan, being with friends and following the fortunes of MUFC. And doing anything else that presents itself as being worth the effort!
