Not A Male Fail

Joliet

I’m guessing that there are others who struggle with some of the same questions I’ve asked about masculinity. There may be a parent out there who wonders if their boy is okay because he prefers art or drama over sports. There might be a spouse who wonders why her husband loves preparing dinner more than she. There may be other men who feel like they just don’t fit in – even within the church.

You’re invited to join me on a blog and book writing adventure as I examine the Scriptures, explore the stories of others, share articles, quote from books, and continue to ask the hard questions about masculinity. Maybe, at times, you or someone you know (a child, a friend, a husband) has felt like a “male fail” because of the several masculinity stereotypes. The fact is, some of us truly relate better to David the songwriter than Samson the strongman. We’re here to encourage men, both young and old, that they are NOT failures.
