Hey there! I'm a wife, a mom, a teacher, and just about anything else that my children demand I be. I live in the suburbs, but would far rather live the life my great-grandma had -- raising children, chickens, and chard on a plot of land. So instead of popping my kids on a bus and getting my nails done, I have tried cultivating a slightly different life: homeschooling my kids, gardening in the backyard, canning in Mason jars, and dreaming that one day I'll get those chickens. :) Welcome to my world, where the past and the future collide head-on, usually in the middle of my kitchen.
