Novivievna

I am so glad you are here! Let me introduce myself.

It is my place in cyberspace. My Photo Blogging Project is called NoviVievna. These words don't mean something in real speak, but they are derived from words and names that have a special meaning to me.

Novi is the pronunciation of novae, which is the plural of nova. And I took nova from supernova. SuperNoviVievna sounds a bit megalomanic, so I kept Novi.
My favourite writer, Ayn Rand, used to be called 'Alissa Zinovievna Rosenbaum'. I wish I could take that entire name, for it is so beautiful. I took part of her middle name because it reminded me of the French word 'vivre' as in 'joie de vivre', which means the joy of living.

Combined they make NoviVievna (and if I didn't alter the words before mixing them up, it would have been SupernovaeZinovievna, which sounds like a superhero from a Russian version of Captain Planet)
