I have been a Gestalt Therapist for 25 years, and a trainer for 17 years. I continue to be passionate about Gestalt, and love teaching.

Since 2000 I have been teaching in a range of countries - Mexico, the USA, Europe, China, Japan, and Korea. I am currently setting up a full training program in Shanghai.

My interest and invovlement in spirituality goes back 37 years, and has led me to develop a meta model of psychotherapy and spirituality. I tour and teach a workshop on this subject, and explore a range of issues including what I term Religious Wounding. This can be worked with and healed through therapeutic processes, something I consider to be important and exciting.

A current joint project involves developing The Unvirtues Project, in association with my wife, Su-lee Ling. We are exploring the ways in which greater ownership of the shadow can lead to a more authentic life, and deeper relationships.

I am enrolled for a Phd on the subject of Power. My interest is in bringing awareness and skills to people regarding how they use power in relationship.
