Trying to figure out why people do what they do, good or bad, can only lead to frustration unless looking at them through Christ’s eyes. When I am mad at someone, I have to put myself in their situation, and then I can see why they are the way they are. I find myself numerous times in a day, having to tell myself, "What would Jesus do?" because I am so quick to judge, and assume. That is why I view the world from a biblical/Christian perspective, because it simplifies life, and helps me act out in love and compassion.
1 John 4:19, "We love because he first loved us."
I try to be different in the way I make my decisions, and how I act towards other people because I want other people to see Christ through me. I want to stand out, because I'm thinking about other people, and how I can impact them and not live only for myself, and my own selfish desires. My favorite verse is Romans 8:38-39, "For I am convinced that neither life nor death, neither angels nor demons, neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord." I am definitely a worrier, and this verse helps me focus on what’s right and whats true, and put things in perspective.
