Have been working toward development of cinema condition in Bangladesh. Founder member of Satyajit Ray Film Society established in 1988..joined Bangladesh Short Film Forum in 1989, the organization that created the independent filmmaking journey in Bangladesh parallel to the mainstream commercial cine circuit. Former President of the organization..worked as Festival Director for the 11th and 12th International Short & Independent Film Festival, Dhaka organized biennieally by Bangladesh Short Film Forum-the pioneer independent Film Festival of it's kind in the whole South-east Asia.
Presently working with the Bengal Cinema Development Forum <www.bengalcinema.com> that produces Feature Films in Bangladesh.
