Nsikakabasi George
Consultant, Project Manager, and Director in Nigeria
Nsikakabasi George is a passionate and driven public health practitioner who aims to improve the health and well-being of vulnerable populations in Africa and beyond. He is currently a Global Health Fellow at Young Professionals in Foreign Policy (YPFP), where he publishes monthly articles on various health topics for a global audience. He is also a Program Manager for the ZeroNOMA Initiative, an organization pushing to eradicate Noma, a devastating but preventable disease that affects thousands of children in Africa.
With over four years of cross-cutting experience across health policy and management, epidemiology, health financing, and global public health, Nsikakabasi has developed and applied his skills in various local and international organizations, such as the Wellbeing Foundation Africa, the UNMGCY, the World Youth Alliance, and the Royal Society for Tropical Medicine and Hygiene. He is currently pursuing a European Master in Public Health degree with an Erasmus Mundus Excellence Scholarship, which will enable him to deepen his knowledge and network in the field of public health. Nsikakabasi has also won multiple awards and recognitions for his work and advocacy, such as the SDG Champion and the Male Promise Leader. He is a member of several professional bodies, including the Faculty of Public Health.
