Hi, I am Ackley Nsikan an M.Sc student studying Information System Management at the University of Salford. Whilst studying , I couldn’t help but notice little disorganization. Some students were sometimes confined to only themselves and neglecting their other peers on the course especially the new intakes that frequently joined the system each two/three months. I think it is about time this changed and that we become more united as Information System students so that everyone weather September, January, March, May, October or November intake could relate and share ideas together for effective branding of ourselves as Information System stars. This led to my volunteering as a new course representative. I passed through the course representative training yesterday fifth June 2013 and was rightly informed of my roles and responsibility through out the year. I am indeed delighted to have wonderful colleagues as you for this one year and it is my expectation to put smiles on your face as you study this exceptional course of Information System Management in our prestigious Salford University. I will be basically involved in your academic and welfare in order to speak your mind through the school representative, lecturers, student union and to the highest authority. I will be keeping you up to date especially on opportunities which could earn you incentives. Bear in mind that this journey cannot be accomplished without you and I being involved and speaking as one voice. Remember, you are not in any problem alone. In summarry, I am an adventurous and result-oriented person with a keen interest in information technology and passion in the management of databases with business analysis process. My goal is to drive the global world into a precise information direction without database failures and ensuring that businesses operate promptly and strategic values are maintained in all public, private, military and especially Small Medium Enterprises (SME’s). I am presently, an Oracle certified professional with six months practical lecturing experience with clients organisations on database systems. Wide-ranging expertise having worked as a personnel officer and auditing officer in varied companies.
