I am a bilingual Congelese and Canadian resident Public Relation Specialist with a career spanning a decade. Prior to moving to Canada, I worked in the Africa continent as a Communication Specialist and Regional Communication Officer in DR Congo, Johannesburg in South Africa and Abidjan in Côte d’Ivoire. My news and feature articles have been published in major U.K. and U.S. newspapers, including The Guardian, The Independent, and the Washington Post.

I hold a Master's degree in Corporate Communication and Public Relations, from Georgetown University and a BA in Communicatio for Developmen from Universite Lumiere de Bujumbura. My Master’s in Public Relations & Corporate Communications with Georgetown University focuses on digital marketing communication strategy with coursework including: PR Writing, Corporate Communication, Research in PR, DEI in Communications, PR Ethics, Global Communication Strategy in the Age of Social Media, Social Media Theory & Practice, Integrated Marketing Communications, Project Management Budgeting & Metrics. I also Participated in the Global Marketing Communication Strategy course in London and my major projects are:
• Communication Strategy Plan for The Peace Corps.
• Corporate Communications Plan for Abbott Nutrition
• Social Media Plan for UNICEF China; Sernatur Chile; SeaWeb.

Working as a Senior Communication Officer with World Vision International, I led a crisis communication team of 4 staff, supporting content creation, advocacy, media training for spokespersons and media relations.

In 2014, I joined Unicef DR Congo as a Communication for Development Specialist, supporting behavioural change Communication in more than 200 communities across the country, leading a 12-team of communication for development officers.

In 2017, I worked the United Nations Population's Fund, supporting communication in 11 countries in East and Southern Africa region.

I joined the International Labour Organisation in 201, a specialised UN agency, as Regional Communication Officer and acting-Regional Communication and Public Information Officer for Africa. In that role, I led ILO Communications on the Africa continent across 54 countries.
