Ntando Kumalo

Hi, my name is Ntando Kumalo. I’m currently saving the environment from Durban, South Africa.

I am a fan of social causes, innovation, and education. I’m also interested in entrepreneurship and bio-technology. I currently spend most of my free time educating myself about block-chain technology, bio-engineering, and artificial intelligence as I strongly believe that the onus is on us, the youth, to create job opportunities that will alleviate the challenges we experience in developing countries.

The advent of open source ledgers, digital currency and crowdfunding platforms has potential to open a vast number of doors for startups in the third world.

As a former Maths and Physics teacher, who taught at high school, I find youth empowerment and positive leadership endearing because the return on investing in an individual is better than any I.C.O or stock option currently available. I would like to take up that role in mentoring in the near future, maybe in the lines of business development.
