New Testament Christian Churches of America
Evangelical Fellowship in Vancouver, Washington, United States
The New Testament Christian Churches of America (NTCC) is a fellowship centered on Christ, committed to teaching the truth of the Bible and the Gospel of Jesus Christ. With its foundation firmly rooted in the belief that Scripture is the inspired Word of God, NTCC has grown from a small gathering into a global network of churches. Since its inception in 1969, the fellowship has remained committed to its mission of preaching the Word, baptizing new believers, discipling followers of Christ, and training leaders for lasting ministry.
NTCC began in October 1969 in St. Louis, Missouri, when a group of Christians formed the New Testament Church of God. They were motivated by the conviction to share the message of the Bible with sincerity and purpose. As the fellowship expanded, it reorganized in 1984 under the name New Testament Christian Churches of America, reflecting its broader vision and growing national presence. From its earliest days, NTCC has emphasized building communities founded on the Bible and supporting believers in their daily walk with God.
Today, NTCC oversees more than 100 churches throughout the United States and overseas. Its work is focused on sharing the light of Christ, baptizing in the name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Ghost, and nurturing disciples who live out their faith. A central part of this mission is planting congregations, ensuring that the message of salvation reaches people in both urban and rural areas.
The fellowship also invests in preparing men and women for ministry. Through seminary programs, NTCC provides biblical teaching alongside practical pastoral training. These programs highlight the authority of Scripture, the importance of Christ-centered living, and the responsibility to serve with compassion. Many graduates go on to serve as pastors, missionaries, or leaders in NTCC churches and mission fields around the world, continuing the fellowship’s commitment to strong leadership.
Over the years, NTCC has celebrated significant milestones, including its 50th anniversary in 2019, which marked five decades of growth and ministry. The fellowship has long ministered to U.S. military members and their families, offering chaplaincy and pastoral care at home and abroad. Internationally, it has established missions in places such as the Philippines and Panama, bringing the Gospel to communities in need.
