Nubia Rose

Nubia Rose is a singer and songwriter born in Duque de Caxias, Rio de Janeiro, with dual Brazilian and American citizenship. Since releasing her first song in 2014, Nubia hasn’t stopped composing. She gained wider recognition with her hit song “I Want Nothing For Christmas” in 2018 and later included it in her 2020 Christmas album I Love Christmas.

Fluent in both English and Portuguese, Nubia always strives to have her music available in both languages. As an independent artist, she has built an extensive repertoire of original songs, including :

• Te Amo (and its Spanish version
• In This Together
• Parabéns da Nubia Rose (a birthday song)
• Nada Para O Natal (Portuguese version of I Want Nothing For Christmas)

Beyond music, Nubia is the founder of Nubia Rose Brazilian Lifestyle, a bilingual magazine (English and Portuguese) showcasing Brazilian culture and lifestyle in the United States.

She has also been a licensed real estate agent since 2001.

In 2023, Nubia published her book I Want Nothing For Christmas, available on Amazon. In 2025, she is set to release I Want Nothing For Christmas: Book Two, published by Fulton Books.

Nubia is a passionate fan of both American and Brazilian music. Growing up in a household where her father was a devoted music lover, she was constantly surrounded by melodies. Her father collected records by Roberto Carlos, Agnaldo Timóteo, Elvis Presley, and many international artists, always playing music at family gatherings. Nubia inherited this same deep love for music.

Nubia writes, produces, and performs all of her music. She studied acting at Tablado and the former Socila Modeling School.

As a teenager in Brazil, she performed under the stage name Nubia Sirré. She appeared in several television productions, including:
