Good Day, I'm glad you found my page!

My name is Chris, I am 23 years of age and I feel fascinated with the power we're given to create whatever we wish by programming our way to the goal! I'm a Fullstack Developer with focus on Backend programming mostly. My languages of choice are NodeJS (JavaScript in general) and C#. I do however possess basic knowledge in PHP and Java as well. As for markup languages I know HTML, CSS and SCSS.

Despite from programming, I also casually do Linux Server Administration and operate several kinds of servers including but not limited to Web- (Nginx), File-, IRC-, Node-, Mail- and Database-server. Therefore I have experience with Bash as well. My distributions of choice are Ubuntu for small projects and testing environments, Debian for bigger projects and deployment and CentOS for virtualization.

But enough about programming languages. What about lingual ones? I am fluent in German (native language), English and am currently learning Japanese.

In my free time I enjoy working with Computers, go Cycling or teaching myself new stuff like languages (both, programming and lingual). By the time of writing this I am currently learning C++.

My current interests apart from web-development are topics involving Big Data, Functional Programming, Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning. I love playing around with Recurrent Neural Networks and feel passionate about writing things like chat-bots.

Another subject I love to learn about is reverse engineering and ROM Hacking. I enjoy old video games and sometimes more than playing them. I find joy in pulling them apart and see how they were written. That's the reason why I started to learn Z80/EZ80 Assembler for Zilog and Sharp Chips which were used for example in the GameBoy Color.
