Nuri is CEO and Founder of txtsmarter, based in Silicon Valley. txtsmarter was founded on the belief that text messaging is on the rise as the primary form of global, 24/7 business communications, overtaking email and phone calls in popularity as proven by the growing, young adult workforce (18-24) who now use smart phones for text nearly as much as talk. The company’s first app will launch Q2 2015.

Nuri is a thought leader and change agent who thrives on business challenges. He is able to envision business strategy, create marketing and business development initiatives, quickly develop solid channels and alliances and drive programs to generate new revenue.

Nuri is a lifetime member of the Silicon Valley Technology Community and has built a career in asset management allocation for Apple Computer, HP, IBM, Sony, Toshiba, Acer, Sun Microsystems, Wine.com as well as major financial institutions, venture capital firms and private equity groups.

Nuri founded an online marketplace company, AuctioNet, which grew from zero to over $40 Million in annual sales. In addition to heading up the business, he focused on platform and application development.

He has been featured on CNN and on ABC, CBS and NBC Broadcast Television News, & in Computer Reseller News, Business 2.0 Magazine, the New York Times, USA Today & Time Magazine.

For over 20 years, Nuri has donated his time leading fund raising efforts for non-profit organizations including: Make a Wish Foundation, Special Olympics, PARCA, Camp Okizu, Avalon Academy, NFL Alumni Association, San Mateo Foster City School District, Pacific Autism Center, Nativity School, Nueva School, Kara, Gentry Magazine, and CORA.
