Nuria Romero Hill

Hello, I am Nuria. I am a soon-to-be translator living in Barcelona.

Since I was a child I loved reading books and, since then, I knew I wanted to work in the publishing industry. I did English Studies (2013-2017) at University, I did a Master's Degree in Teaching and Learning English as a Second or Foreign Language (2017-2018) and, later, I wanted to explore more field of study among the English language, so I did another Master's Degree, this time in Barcelona and in Translation and Intercultural Studies (2019-2020). During this master I discovered my new passion and I excelled in audiovisual translation and literature translation, the later being the topic of my master's dissertation: the translation of science-fiction.

I also love cinema, tv shows and video games. I have been a passionate about them since my childhood as well and that is, probably, the reason I was so invested in audiovisual translation and want to make it my field of expertise.

I am looking forward to start working in this career and offering great services to my future clients.
