Nurit Raich

A seasoned professional with over a decade of experience in product development and management, Nurit's extensive scientific and technical knowledge combined with her passion for outstanding food has literally taken her around the world.

After receiving her degree in Food Technology from Universidad Iberoamericana in Mexico City and Food Science from the University of Reading in the United Kingdom, Nurit established herself as a rising food technologist in the UK. Working for Kerry Foods in Manchester, then Pret A Manger in London, Nurit developed a complete range of award-winning meals and coffee drinks for major national retailers.

Nurit was appointed to International Group Head of Food Technology at Pret, overseeing Pret’s expansion into Hong Kong, New York and Tokyo while maintaining the company’s core values of great-tasting and additive-free food. In June of 2003, Nurit established NR Consulting, working first in the United Kingdom and, as of June, 2006, in the US, and as of 2009, in Mexico.

In 2010, Nurit launched www.cocoaandcakes.com, providing high-end gourmet cupcakes for the most sofisticated pallates and special occassions.

Specializing in new product development, NR Consulting provides services in such areas as development processes, nutrition, quality standards, ingredient development, food safety and organic and additive-free food.
