Nurlina

Hello! I'm Nurlina, a lecturer at the Universitas Sulawesi Barat. I received my master’s in Physics from Institut Teknologi Bandung (ITB) and my bachelor’s in Physics Education from Universitas Negeri Makassar (UNM). In 2019, I joined the Program of Study in Physics Education, Faculty of Teacher Training and Education, Universitas Sulawesi Barat, as a lecturer. I have written several papers in the areas of Physics and Physics Education. As a lecturer at the Physics Education, I always study the latest trends and methods in learning and teaching. At the moment, I am quite uncertain about choosing between pure physics or education as my path to pursuing a PhD. I am deeply interested in nuclear energy studies (such as in my Master's research), but I am considering the prospects of such research in my work environment, as it may be difficult to be accepted. I am currently trying to deepen my knowledge regarding the use of AI in physics education. Some of my research related to scientific literacy for students/prospective teachers based on local wisdom has also become quite appealing in my studies. However, all of these still need to be refined and further explored.
