Nur Syahirah Berhan

Hello, my name is Nur Syahirah Binti Berhan. I am currently 23 years old and originally from Alor Setar, Kedah. After I finished my diploma in TESL at KUPTMKL, I have been chosen to further my studies here in USM in programme TESOL. Because of that, I am taking this course as this is one of the courses required to under my minor programme. But it is not a problem. Minoring in Multimedia is indeed a great choice especially when you are going to be a teacher in this 21 century.

But do I want to be a teacher?

Well frankly speaking, I have no idea. I have taught in primary school before for my practicum during diploma and it was… hectic. It was fine. I am still surprised at the fact that I myself found teaching to be fun. Teaching is indeed fun, but sometimes the environment and people can easily spoil it for you. So as for now, I totally have no idea if I should become a teacher or not in the future. I think let’s just follow the flow and wing it. Thank you.
