Nurul Chowdhury

My name is Nurul Chowdhury. My origins are from Bangladesh but I have travelled a lot. Spent my childhood in Dubai and Bahrain. At the age of 24 went to France where I spent 17 years and at present in Ireland since 2006. I am a married man and have two wonderful daughters aged 7 and 12. I had started my career as a computer specialist and then for a few years was involved in Commercial business.

My latest career highlights I am a finance professional. I work as a Business Performance Analyst for a drinks manufacturing industry. I love numerical analysis, I built up my career around it. I look at the performance of the business and give my conclusion on the performance. My speciality “Scorecards”. So you may be asking what am I doing in the internet and what is my blog all about. Why am I here ?

This is more of a Confession (update October 2010) As many of you, I have a dream too, to start an online business some day. I started my online venture in December 2008, just shortly after Christmas. I stumbled upon a site called SBI on October 2008 and started falling in love with it. I think I had spent about 3 months, watching and watching and watching all the videos, reading all the SBIer experiences (that’s how they call themselves).

So much interesting information that I stayed with my mouth wide open. Site Build It or SBI is an excellent webhosting company with integrated marketing modules and training centre. It helps you develop your perfect business model. You decide what you want to do and create your own business around it. No please don’t get me wrong it is nothing close to GET RICH QUICK SCHEME. People who have succeeded with SBI are those who have built an online business based around their passion, or their skills or their experience. I liked that theory, I was looking for something I could write about, I could share with everyone and hence the idea of creating my own website on computers. Please note that at that stage, I had no clue how to build a website, neither did I know what was html, php or SEO etc.. So I bought their package around the 1st week of January 2009, a very reasonable price and went thru the 10 day training videos, well it took me a bit more than that. LOL I finally built my website http://Master-Your-Computer.com on 30th of January 2009 and built my first 5 pages in the following weeks and the last page was updated around March 2009.
