Nycole Ray

Artistic Director of Dallas Black Dance Theatre II, a Detroit native and graduate of The California Institute of the Arts receiving a Bachelors of Fine Arts in dance. She has received additional training at the Katherine Dunham Technique Seminars, California State Summer School of the Arts, Wayne State University, and as an exchange student at the London Contemporary Dance School in England. Mrs. Ray has performed with Bruce Wood Dance Project, Christopher and Friends directed by Christopher Huggins, The Lula Washington Dance Theater, Dayton Contemporary Dance Company II and the Zadonu African Dance Company. She has worked with noted choreographers such as Hope Boykin, Donald Mckayle, Diane McIntyre, Christopher Huggins, Alonzo King, Jessica Lang, Bruce Wood, Donald Bird and Camille Brown. Nycole is a principle dancer with the Dallas Black Dance Theatre; this is her fourteenth season with the company.
