An experienced Texas-based education administrator, Nydia Magdaleno-Gonzalez holds an MEd with Summa Cum Lade distinction from the University of Texas at El Paso (UTEP). Her training as an educator also includes a number of teaching and administrative certificates from the State of Texas. These include Field Supervisor Training for Aspiring Principals - Region 19, a certificate that Nydia Magdaleno-Gonzalez completed in August of 2017.

Nydia Magdaleno-Gonzalez draws on this recently-completed credential to provide coaching and mentoring to principal candidates through Concordia University and Howard Payne University. She has carried out similar responsibilities as a volunteer principal coach at Father Yermo Elementary School in El Paso, and she operates an education consultancy through which she offers principal mentoring in addition to numerous other services.

Before assuming her current positions, Nydia Magdaleno-Gonzalez served in several administrative roles, including superintendent and T-STEM principal, at public charter schools in Texas. Active in her field, she belongs to the School Superintendents Association, among other professional groups, and has given more than two-dozen presentations at gatherings of fellow educators.
