Nyesha Sanders

Hello! My name is Nyesha and I'm a Junior at NCCU. I recently switched my major to public health from nursing. I plan on obtaining my bachelors in public health and returning to the accelerated nursing program to obtain another bachelors in nursing.

I was born and raised in Durham, NC. I'm a very family oriented person so I never really wanted to go far to school. My mom, sister, and aunt are all NCCU alumni and my grandma retired from NCCU. So everyone was glad to hear that I decided to go to NCCU.

Along with being a full-time student, I work as a private nanny, and I also have a hair extensions business. I enjoy spending time with my family and friends. I'm very excited about the new semester!
