NYETESE SIMON

Symoh Thewizard, born Nyetese Simon on 5 February 1994 in Mitete, Mawogola County, Masaka Region, Uganda, is a Ugandan Information Technology consultant, entrepreneur, software expert, educator, and philanthropist best known as the Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Wizard Tech Hub, a technology company based in Makindye, Kampala. He pursued a Diploma in Information Technology at Mutesa 1 Royal University, between 2014 and 2015, where he developed the technical foundation that would shape his professional career. Simon has worked with organizations including the Nationa Securit Information System (NSIS) and the Electoral Commission of Uganda, contributing to information systems and technology-related operations. His international career began in the Kingdom of Bahrain, where he worked with WABAG INTERNATIONAL from 2016 to 2018 as a Wastewater Plant Operator responsible for monitoring and operating SCADA-based computerized control systems within industrial treatment facilities. During his stay in Bahrain, he also gained recognition as a DJ, performing at various multicultural events and entertainment venues. In 2017, he was invited as a guest DJ in Sharjah, United Arab Emirates, further expanding his professional and cultural exposure. Throughout his career, Simon has traveled extensively, visiting and working in countries including the United Arab Emirates, Qatar, Kenya, Ethiopia, Singapore, Laos, and China. His travels have been largely driven by his expertise in computer technology, technical consultancy, and digital solutions. In 2024, he worked in Singapore as an Information Technology expert before relocating to Yunna Provincein China, where he lived and worked between 2024 and 2025, contributing to technology-related projects and gaining valuable international experience in digital innovation and emerging technologies. Through Wizard Tech Hub, he has dedicated himself to providing ICT consultancy, software solutions, computer support services, technical training, and digital empowerment programs for individuals and businesses. Widely regarded as an IT guru, Simon possesses expertise in computer systems, networking, software support, industrial automation, digital transformation, and technology entrepreneurship. Beyond his professional accomplishments, he is actively involved in charitable initiatives that support education, digital literacy, and community development across Uganda and Africa. A father, mentor, teacher, and community advocate, he remains deeply connected to his roots in Masaka, where he is also engaged in local farming activities. His career reflects a unique combination of technical excellence, entrepreneurial leadership, international experience, and commitment to community service, making him one of the notable emerging technology professionals from Uganda dedicated to advancing innovation and digital transformation both locally and globally.
