Ms. Regina ‘Califa’ Calloway, a visionary Woman of Faith, advances global African Diaspora missions that strengthen kinship and unite Families through programs cultivated in Ancestral wisdom.

Since 1993, Ms. Calloway is a dedicated Family Historian and active member of kinship societies, including the Inaugural Class of the Midwestern African American Genealogy Institute (Afrigeneas.com Scholar) and affiliations with the African American Genealogical Society of Northern California and AAHGS Metro Atlanta Chapter. She contributes her expertise through Scholarly Research, Keynote Panels, and Curatorial Leadership. Current initiatives include programming Genealogy and Family History workshops in Libraries, Colleges and Churches, partnered with legacy Societies and Community organizations.

With over three decades in Performance Arts, Ms. Calloway excels as a Creative, Technicianand Producer, collaborating with cultural companies, Fua Dia Congo and Ceedo Senegalese Dance Company. A foundational member of DeRompe y Raja Afro-Peruvian and Obakoso Afro-Cuban, she commands both performance and production with Artistic mastery and finesse.

Her leadership has left an indelible mark through roles with leading Diaspora cultural organizations in the Bay Area: Emesè: Messengers of the African Diaspora, Diata Diata Women's African Drum Corp, Fogo Na Roupaand Co-Founded Boomshake's Global Street Drum for W.O.C.She has led movement-building work that elevates community voices and nurtures artists forging new legacies.

As an Arts& Heritage Strategist, she has curated and produced Nationally recognized showcases, including Aji-tos Arts& Culture Nigerian Artistsof Oṣogbo& Oyo State[2004] and Lahydi African Dance Festival[2007, 2008]. Other credits include: Malaki Matanga Congolese Repertoire[Producing Partner, 2010] "Night of Tribute" SF Mainstage[Exec. Producer, 2015] and Malongafest/Malonga Music Listening Party[Presenting Partner, 2021].
