Works : Prince Igor, Tosca, La Sonnambula, Il barbiere di Siviglia, The Bartered Bride, Rigoletto. His Faust marked a breakthrough in the opera tradition thus far established at Bratislava, and won exceptional international acclaim. Special Award in the Music category at the Edinburgh Festival. Numerous international tours, visiting Spain, Germany, Russia, Hungary, the Netherlands, China...

From 1992–2007 Conductor-In-Chief of the National Theatre in Prague.

Permanent guest conductor of Opera North in Leeds, Carmen, Hamlet, La Gioconda, Norma, The Bartered Bride, Rusalka. Special prize at the Salzburg Television Festival (Filas: Memento). Since 2001 guest conductor at the Bavarian State Opera in Munich, in 2004 Teatro Colón Buenos Aires.

2006-2010 Artistic Director of Opera Ostrava; from 2006 Principal Conductor of the Slovak Radio SO; permanent guest conductor of the Zagreb Philharmonic. Since 2007 guest conductor of Staatsoper Stuttgart. 2007 The Bartered Bride at the Baltimore Opera. In 2009 North Italian Tour with the production of Puccini's Turandot.
