I was born in Romania, to the most wonderful loving parents who happened to have grandma`s piano in the house; somehow, one day I stumbled towards it…later my fingers began stumbling on the keyboard, first searching their way and afterwards picking up speed; after they began knowing their way around , these fingers began taking me on wonderful journeys.

I’ve had the pleasure to travel as part of my career and embark on a voyage which has enabled me to work with some great teachers, extraordinary musicians and wonderful artists.

Some time ago I made a conscious decision to move to Switzerland and perfect my skills and knowledge by successfully completing two Masters programs. The first in Piano Performance and the second in Music Pedagogy at the Hochschule der Künste in Bern.

This experience has been life changing and has allowed me to learn and grow not only professionally but personally. Life is always unfolding and inspiring and each day I am grateful for new encounters and the exciting challenges which lie ahead.

Chamber music is what I completely thrive in. I am constantly involved in different ensemble projects from Duos to Choir ensembles.

Music is more than just playing and listening. I play with the hope that I take my audience on a journey and ‘paint’ a story in a myriad of colours. Call it a flight of fancy to a mystical land which has long been forgotten, and all just by using the black and white keys as my paint brush and palette.
I myself travel with the help of these magic keys. For me playing George Enescu takes me back home to my roots and childhood memories. Playing Isaac Albeniz takes me to flaming impassioned Spain. Frederic Chopin waltzes me into the lavish Parisian salons of the 19th century, and so on.

Whether solo or chamber music, when composing a recital, venue, musical moment repertoire, I always try to take the audience to new and exciting musical territories.

Furthermore, having been artistically involved since an early age and constantly seeking new challenges and expanding my professional horizons, I have taken up an Executive Master in Arts Administration at the University of Zürich, starting this autumn.

I sincerely hope to reach out to as many people as possible and hope they can join me on this mystical journey and hear me play.
