Adetomiwa Ola-Adeyemo

Ola-Adeyemo Adetomiwa is a seasoned agriculturist and a featured poet and writer having won numerous prizes for his cognitive skills. He is known for his fierce advocacy for human development, thus, he is the Founder of "Raising Giants Initiative", an initiative aimed at brooding young children, while instilling in them good virtues that will be helpful to the society. He is the Director of Human Capacity Development of Togetherness Supreme Network.
Adetomiwa partners with a lot of organization that promotes community development and leadership, he’s co-anchored and successfully executed various projects on PREJUDICE ALLEVIATION ranging from gender equality, racial discrimination and religious understanding, he’s a keen advocate for human advancement and empowerment.
Adetomiwa is also a fierce lover of agriculture especially plant genetics and sustainable agriculture, he currently works as a Reaearch Supervisor at ICRISAT that hopes to alleviate poverty and increase food security by investing in the minds of local farmers in the northern region of Nigeria, while working here, He has garnered knowledge on agricultural related project management skills and data management and analysis. In this capacity, he had the opportunity to be part of the team that trained farmers on the adoption of new agricultural input and technologies.
An alumnus of JCIN FUTA, he studied Crop, Soil and Pest Management at the Federal University of Technology, Akure where he graduated with Second Class Hons, his project work titled “The study of evolutionary trend of cultivated Oryza species using nucleotide polymorphism” where he characterized, sequenced and analyzed 8 different varieties of rice to study their ancestral genetic variability helped him to understand the concept of Genetics which he hopes to pursue in recent future.
Adetomiwa has attended executive leadership and agricultural training at YALI Network, YPARD, USAID-FAO, IFP Schools and Edx with certificates of leadership to his merit.
Beyond career and career development, Adetomiwa is a firm believer in the existence and supreme ability of God. He's also an hopeless romantic, a sarcastic bum who believes everybody have the innate ability to be better no matter how bad they've been, he often inculcates this into his writings and articles.
