Obesity Prevention

Obesity Prevention is an anti-obesity campaign ,co-founded by two people, with an aim to prevent obesity around New zealand, Carson Page and Shaamnil Prasad. it started of as part of our social studies subject, where the class was designated to a certain crisis or disease. We were fortunate enough to get Obesity as our topic, from where on, this campaign originated.

According to a survey conducted in 1997, 35% of the population (40.4% males, 30.1% females), were overweight and a further 17% as obese (14.7% males, 19.2% females).

This survey indicates that a large majority of New Zealand arelikely to exhibit health risk factors.
